Food & Beverage Planning

For your enjoyment and continued survival, we have compiled a list of how to consume calories.

Included in your OmegaCon registration

NomSweet

Other conventions call it ConSuite, but we call it NomSweet! If you’ve been to OmegaCon before, you already know this is the best room in the house! NomSweet will be serving snack items that are easy to grab and go. You should plan to provide your own meals – as always we want everyone to take care of their own food needs.

The bathtub is filled with various delectable non-alcoholic beverages for OmegaFall only.

Masks are strongly recommended in NomSweet and Roadkill’s Bar due to the small area of these rooms.

We appreciate your efforts in helping us reduce waste for this event by bringing your own reusable drinking vessels, plates, bowls, utensils, and napkins.

Located inside NomSweet, Roadkill’s Bar pays homage to our dearly departed Troll by serving you some delicious beverages. The bar will have beer, gluten-free beer, hard cider, red wine, select cocktails, nitro cold press coffee, and perhaps some surprises.

If there is a liquor, beer, or mixer that you can’t live without then you should provide it for yourself. Please note that Roadkill’s Bar is no longer accepting donations.

As always, we remind you to drink responsibly and not to excess. Please see our alcohol policy for more information.

On Your Own

You should plan to provide your own meals, in addition to any other snacks and beverages you can’t live without. Many of our members bring sandwich supplies for their hotel room or even plan to make a crock pot meal for something more substantial. Each hotel room is outfitted with a mini* fridge. You can use the microwave in the Breakfast Nook when that room is open.

If you’d like to support the wide variety of small restaurants and businesses in Siren, we have compiled a map of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and more . There will also be a list and menus in Gandy Dancer and outside of the pool/hot tub/sauna room.

*Emphasis on mini – it’s approximately 1.5 cubic feet

Grilling at OmegaCon
Did you know that we can use the grill at the Lodge? It’s true! It is a propane grill and can be found on the concrete patio on the way to the fire pit. We’ll have signs posted to direct you to the right place. Bring your own grillables & cook up some tasty eats. If the grill is not working properly please let hotel staff know. As with everything at OmegaCon, please clean up after yourself.
